Delicate Arch

Saturday, March 21, 2009

Having been to Arches National Park a number of times, it was strange that we had never made it over to the most famous arch located there; Delicate Arch. We set out this morning to make the hike to Delicate Arch. Here’s a few photos from our hike.

Thanksgiving on Comb Ridge | Saturday

Saturday, November 29, 2008

The original goal for this trip was to spend most of the weekend hiking to Anasazi ruins on Comb Ridge. A Weekend Exploring Cedar Mesa

Saturday & Sunday, May 24-25, 2008

Unfortunately since Amanda has to work on the holiday, we only had a normal weekend to go exploring, but we managed to make the most of it. After heading out after work and driving straight through to Blanding, where we filled up with gas, we made it to Comb Wash campground and managed to setup camp right before it started raining. We knew there might be a chance of rain, but it actually ended up raining all night….and pretty hard, too.

Sunday Trails near Moab

Sunday, May 11, 2008

After our day in Arches National Park and a good nights sleep last Saturday, we headed out Sunday to run the trail that Amanda chose for the day, and then did a little more exploring. Since Amanda chose Hurrah Pass, heading to the end of Chicken Corners was a natural choice. But I also wanted to check out the Jackson Hole trail as well. We had plenty of time to squeeze all of that in, and still made it home to Junction by 5pm!
