Moab BogleyFest 2009 | Friday

Friday, November 6, 2009

On Friday, I got up early and made my way to Moab to meet up with some people from Bogley who would be canyoneering that weekend. Dome Plateau & Yellow Cat Areas

Sunday, November, 1, 2009

Since I had changed my mind about camping in the San Rafael Swell the day before, my Sunday was now free to go exploring elsewhere. I started out heading towards Moab on UT 128, but turned off a few miles before the old Dewey Bridge onto Wood Road.

Halloween in the Swell

Saturday, October 31, 2009

I was originally planning on camping and making it a weekend trip, but since a cold front came through earlier this week, I changed my mind and didn’t feel like camping anymore, so I made it a day trip instead.

After leaving Dinosaur National Monument and a quick stop in Vernal we headed south on our way home. However, we did have one more stop planned at Fantasy Canyon along the way. This was a cool area, however we ended up getting there at a bad time…..most of the photos I took were shooting into the sun, so they didn’t turn out as well as I would have liked. We will have to head back another time to get some better shots. Here’s some of the better ones I got….
