On Friday morning I met with a friend up in Wisconsin near McCaslin Mountain to explore a trail simply known as The Pipeline…mainly because it follows a pipeline much of the way. Lucky for us, the fall colors had already started to show themselves.
A short rocky climb along the way.
In case you were wondering how the trail got it’s name…
Leaves turning a nice shade of red.
Helping keep the trail open.
I found a little rock ledge to stop on.
After exploring much of The Pipeline trail and heading back to the campground, we met up with a few guys from TIJA that had arrived and took a short trail run down Machetti on McCaslin Mountain to play on some rocks.
We found some deep water along the way…
… and some rocks, too.
