It’s been a while since I headed up to the Colorado National Monument after work to catch a sunset, so after all the rain we’ve had in the past few days I thought it might be a good idea to head up there this evening since the storms had finally started to clear.
I liked the light on the cliffs above the sign as I entered the park.

Balance Rock on the right with a nicely lit canyon wall on the left. The sky isn’t too bad either!

I decided to make the short hike out to the canyon rim near Window Rock.

One more view over the Grand Valley before I hiked back to my Jeep and drove home for the evening.
