I was originally planning on spending the entire weekend camping, exploring and photographing the Yant Flat area near St. George. I was going to be meeting up with my friend Jens from Germany and was also hoping to photograph a sunset and sunrise at the Candy Cliffs while I was there. Due to a few last minute changes in my plans, I only ended up spending a few hours on Saturday hiking around the area with Jens, so I will definitely have to return again in the future for some better photos.
The colorful sandstone at the edge of Yant Flat was fun to explore and photograph. Here’s a few snapshots I took during the day as we explored the area.
