After using my Kokopelli Rogue-Lite a couple of times last year on some ephemeral desert rivers I came to the conclusion that I might be a little bit too heavy for that boat when I’m using it for more than just simple river crossings and easy flat water, so I waited for the annual Holiday Sale from Alpacka Raft and picked myself up a Mule Self-Bailer for rougher water trips. This boat feels like it fits me a lot better and is built to carry a lot more more weight, so I’m hoping that it will work a lot better for me. Hopefully we will have a good winter in the mountains so I’ll have plenty of opportunities to use it this upcoming spring and summer!
Here’s a couple quick shots I took in my garage to show the difference in size.
