I spent today showing my family around a few areas in the Moab area on a day trip into Utah. I didn’t take out my camera all day until we arrived at the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands in the late afternoon. The clouds and light made for some spectacular conditions that I just couldn’t pass up.
Nice light from the Buck Canyon Overlook.

Shortly after leaving the park, I had to pull over when this double rainbow appeared.

I love late evening light on the landscape with dark storm clouds above. This is looking down the highway back towards Canyonlands.

I had to stop a second time when another rainbow appeared. You can see the La Sal Mountains just under the clouds in the distance.
