Grizzly Creek to Tibbett’s

Saturday, June 26, 2010 | Average CFS: 7,950

We finally managed to get on the river for the first time this year! We were supposed to do this stretch of the Colorado a few weeks ago, but that trip was cancelled because of weather. Luckily we were able to find time this weekend to try it again. Here’s a few photos I took throughout the afternoon on my old Canon point & shoot…

The water was still moving pretty quick. We finished the trip in under 3.5 hours which included a stop for lunch at Two Rivers Park in Glenwood Springs. It was a great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon 🙂
