The third iteration of the ADVENTR Jeep is finally here! I ordered it back at the end of December and it took just under six months to get built and shipped to Grand Junction. Yes, it looks very similar to my previous two Jeeps, but I guess that’s because I know exactly what I want!

While my 2016 JK definitely treated me well these past 6 years, with almost 170,000 miles on the odometer it was time for me to move on to something newer. Now I’m looking forward to this one taking me all over the Colorado Plateau and greater Southwest!

Ordered: 12-29-21
Built: 3-22-22
Delivered: 5-11-22

Nice! Does look strikingly similar – so much so that when I saw it in the Comb Wash photos from today’s trip report, I wondered what you were talking about, hahahaha!

So, besides mileage, were there other things you were looking to change for this iteration? I can’t tell for sure, but it looks like perhaps there are bigger tires?

My dad is a Jeep guy too – though he’s into the Grand Cherokee’s now for a bit more comfort at his age. His mileage threshold is 200K.

I sure hope AdventureTaco lasts a 500K, but maybe I’m just fooling myself.

Basically I just wanted a newer version of the same thing I’ve had for the last 12 years. Every time there are upgrades and features that weren’t available before. This one has 33″ tires while my 2016 came with 32’s
