600 Acres

Saturday, February 4, 2006

I was invited by a friend to check out an off-road area near Solon, Iowa known as 600 Acres that I had never been to before. I figured I should go since it is getting closed down by the Department of Natural Resources on March 1st.

Perfect wheeling weather for a Jeep with no doors or top. I should also mention the wind was brutal!

Oops…he didn’t see the large drop off and sped rightinto it. His rear tires came up off the ground a few feet and then came back down.

Overall, it was a fun little park. I had a good time. I just wish it was a little warmer outside.
