For a change, I don’t have any photos or trip reports to share from a weekend adventure. Since I spent a lot of time in May hiking, backpacking and rafting, Diane and I decided to take this past weekend off and drive up to Salt Lake City to attend a concert. I had purchased tickets to the Of Mice & Men concert way back in February and was really looking forward to this show since they are one of our favorite bands. Unfortunately, after arriving in Salt Lake on Saturday morning we received word that the show had been cancelled. Needless to say, we were pretty disappointed. It turned out that there was a different concert on Saturday that we didn’t mind checking out, so we got tickets to see I Prevail and Amaranthe. We also managed to see Crown the Empire in the venue next door who were the opening band for Of Mice & Men and still played a show.
