A couple months ago I received an email from an associate editor who was working on an annual student journal called ABD: Artifacts, Bones, Discourse. They were interested in using one of my photos for the cover since they had a student article focusing on rock art in this year’s publication. Since I typically allow my rock art photos to be used for educational and research purposes at no cost (with permission), I sent them a high resolution version of the photo to use in their journal. Last week I received a package from them in the mail containing the finished product and it looks great! They also sent a very nice note along with it. I took an iPhone photo of both to share below.
